Dear Revutonians,
Ever since the Revuto token sale in 2021 when the Revuto team launched the REVU token on the Cardano blockchain, the team and the project have participated in annual Cardano Summit events. Cardano Summit is a central event for the Cardano community where the most important individuals and projects from the ecosystem gather to talk about the future of Cardano, technology, and innovation. Many participants present their projects, and in the end, people network. Previously, the Revuto team has actively participated at smaller Cardano Summit side events in Zagreb and Berlin. Since then, the team has actively participated in the main events — last year in Lausanne (Switzerland) and this year in Dubai (UAE).
This year, Cardano decided to stage its most important event in one of the most exclusive venues in the world — Dubai. In recent times, because of favorable regulatory framework, Dubai has become one of the busiest places for crypto-oriented people. Most of the biggest companies in the space have their offices in Dubai, so going there and meeting with reputable individuals from the industry was of great importance to Revuto.
More importantly, to make the most of the trip to Dubai, with a few respectable companies (NMKR, TVVIN, Thespian), Revuto decided to stage and sponsor an invite-only side event that took place a day before the Cardano Summit official program. The goal was to gather all the important people from the industry in a more relaxed environment in the Weslodge Saloon on the 68th floor of JW Marriot Marquis Hotel in Dubai. The event gathered around 100 people and was one of the top trending crypto events in the city.
The official Cardano Summit event started a day later in a nearby hotel. Again, the venue was full of familiar faces. In short, almost everyone who is considered a top project on Cardano was physically there. The program was packed with panels and presentations on two main stages, while some projects had their booths at the venue. During the program, Revuto’s CEO Vedran Vukman (Vex) had several meetings that were scheduled. Others ended up happening on the spot as there was great interest from other service providers (market makers, crypto-exchanges, liquidity providers, DeFi protocols…) and individuals to learn about Revuto. Revuto will announce some partnerships connected to the Dubai visit early next year. Of course, one of the most important partnerships is the one with ChainUp. Vex paid a visit to their Dubai office, too.
The Cardano Summit lasted for two days and concluded with special events outside of the main conference venue. For the first night, Cardano organized a great networking event in the desert, and for the final night, there was a Gala Dinner at the Armani Hotel in Burj Kalifa. Both events were spectacular because of the extravagant ambiance. They were extraordinary and very exclusive, and also a great opportunity to talk about plans with people who are not only building on Cardano but building Cardano.
During the Summit, Revuto’s CEO presented the project to the local fintech community at the DFIC in the Dubai Business Centre. As a project, Revuto is introducing fintech products with web3 technology, so presenting at DFIC was a perfect place to announce its full roadmap and plans to a local audience, especially because the plan is to unlock our main feature, a debit card program supporting crypto for users from the MENA region.
Altogether, for Revuto, it was very important to be part of the Cardano Summit 2023 and finish the year on a high note because 2024 is the most important year for the project yet. The team plans to release the biggest and most anticipated product update so far — an active subscription management service which includes a debit card program supporting crypto. Also, the team will add the custodial wallet to the Revuto app, allowing users to bring the most popular crypto assets to their Revuto app. Altogether, Revuto is preparing to be ready for the next crypto craze by launching the most important product features to kickstart the REVU token economy at the best possible time.
