New round of Idea Catalyst has started! This is the Fund 13 of the project Catalyst and there is a big change when it comes to the voting for the applied projects.
With Fund 13, the minimum needed threshold of ADA to vote has been lowered to just 25 ADA.
This means that if you have even 25 ADA in your wallet, you can still participate in the voting process and support your favorite projects to help them raise money to keep developing on Cardano!
However, only having the ADA is not sufficient as there is a processed in place to register yourself as voter for the Catalyst Fund 13!
In this article we will cover the whole process that you need to do so you can show the support for the projects by voting for them.
**The voter registration lasts until 20th of November. Make sure to complete it by then!**
P.S. By becoming the voter, you also become eligible to receive rewards for the voting!
1) Make sure to have at least 25 ADA in your wallet (The more ADA you have in your wallet, more powerful your vote is)
2) Install the latest version of the Catalyst Voting application on your mobile device.

- Android users: “Catalyst Voting” on Google Play store
- IOS users: “Catalyst Voting” on IOS store
3) Complete the registration before the snapshot date (20th of November 2024)
4) Inside app — there is a status feature that highlights your readiness for the voting round. It may take some time for voting app to recognize fresh (very recent) registration (up to 24 hours) and be confirmed
visually only later. In such a scenario — it may be saying ‘Wallet not found”. As long as your wallet correctly implemented registration standard, it has no effect on the snapshot itself as your registration would be recorded on blockchain regardless. Just ensure your QR/PIN code is safely stored and
that it is the latest registration made ahead of scheduled snapshot. Do not mix QR/PIN codes from the same wallet (or others) or connection will not work.
Note: there is a registration fee of 0.17–0.18 ADA
5) IMPORTANT* Regardless of your wallet, each registration will provide you with a unique QR and PIN code.
These must absolutely be saved. No QR code saved, no vote! No PIN code saved, no vote!
