Q: Are you planning on coming on strong with marketing with the release of VDCs for the EU & UK?

Where do you plan to push advertisements/commercials other than Twitter/Discord and Medium?

A: We’ve had several simulations on what to do. Considering the market conditions and that we may expect minor bugs or edge cases we can’t anticipate before launching VDCs, we decided not to go big with PR/Marketing announcements. The goal is to avoid spending valuable money on marketing a product that is not 100% ready. That’s why the product release will be slow but progressive, especially because we may not open the feature to everybody but to a smaller group of users (including Revulution NFT holders). We’ll gradually make the product available to all users depending on the initial feedback we get. Also, we’ll start the process by allowing users to top-up VDCs with FIAT only before we add the top-up with REVU feature. The possibility to top up VDCs with ADA and other CNTs will follow.

Goudvis, 9/29/2022 12:41:53

Q: Can we view the stats of NFTs? Let’s say, what extra APY there is? And when can we expect Rstronaut features to be active?

A: Boosted APR (+20%) is already available via our Staking Center for staking ADA in the R Fund pool and REVU in the Basic Staking Pool. We’ll send Rstronaut T-Shirts by the end of this month.

Daniele, 9/29/2022 17:32:33

Q: What will you do with the money paid in advance to Revuto?

Example: Let’s say the 12-monthly subscription plan on a certain service costs 120€ (12€ per month). So I pay 120€ in advance to Revuto. But we know that Revuto will make monthly payments to the service provider. So, for instance, after the first payment, Revuto still has 108€ (120€/12) of the 120€ paid in advance. What will Revuto do with the remaining money? Will it be stored and NOT touched, waiting for the next month’s payment, or not?

A: That’s a great question. We’ll try out several business strategies, but one of them is to use funds and buy REVU to boost its price and then offramp a certain amount of REVU back to FIAT when we need to pay. The setup should help boost capital gains within the company, which the company can use later to pay for those subscriptions. Still, such a business model could be more or less exposed to market conditions (volatility of REVU), so we’ll have to be careful with how many of the funds are used and when to convert to REVU.

Daniele, 9/29/2022 17:34:50

Q: Another question, with Disney+ as an example: A monthly Disney+ subscription costs £7.99 in the UK. That’s £95.88 per year. An annual Disney+ subscription, on the other hand, costs £79.90. That’s a difference of £15.98. Where is the money coming from to cover this difference if Revuto gives the same discount to the end user while still paying monthly to the service provider?

A: Another great question. As you described, in this particular case, the service provider offers a 20% discount for paying for 12 months upfront. Obviously, Revuto will have to offer a discount close to that to stay competitive. Still, even if we offer a bit less of a discount, we should have the advantage because, compared to prepaying directly with the service provider, we offer the possibility to monetize the unused subscription period. The difference will be covered partially by royalty fee(s) (10%) whenever someone resells that subscription (NFT) and partially by capital gains on the REVU held by the company. We expect substantial capital gains from people buying and locking up REVU for a certain period and from reinvesting prepaid money for the services into REVU. The fact that REVU has a limited supply allows us to take advantage of the setup, especially in the early stages when the token TVL is low and the demand is low. Later, with higher TVL, slower user growth, and especially if we enter another bear cycle, we’ll readjust that part of the business model to keep it sustainable.

Daniele, 9/29/2022 17:42:05

Q: I bought the 79€ card, but I think it is not very in line with my investor profile. The 4% cashback is interesting, but I don’t think I will put €3000 into staking. So the 39€ one fits better. (By the way, could you better explain the difference between the two cards, leaving out the design and cashback)? Can I exchange a 79€ card for a 39€ card, perhaps getting the difference in REVU tokens? Would it be possible to make this exchange before the campaign closes?

A: The main difference between Premium and Metal now is in the card design/material and the cashback, but this doesn’t mean there won’t be other differences in the future. We’ll add more features to the cards with time, so you can expect more differences. Unfortunately, we don’t accept refund requests, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to exchange your NFT or sell it on-chain. If you bought your Card NFT on any of the marketplaces we support, you already have the option to sell or exchange that NFT for something else.

Pedro, 9/30/2022 10:07:09

Q: When will be the official launch of subscription management services and all other Revuto features on credit/debit cards? Is it possible to have an updated roadmap?

A: We update our community weekly about our short and long-term plans, so I’d advise you to follow our social channels, blog posts, AMA events, etc. The dynamics of market conditions and product development are very unpredictable, so it’s not productive to stick with specific dates. Also, many blockers are hard to predict when integrating with many 3rd party service providers such as acquirers, KYC providers, banking processors, card issuers, FIAT-to-crypto on-ramp and off-ramp, development agencies, legal offices, and so on. Revuto is a very complex product, and we believe our track record shows our dedication to achieving our goals. Although there are no exact dates, everything you see on the roadmap will be delivered sooner or later.

Pedro, 9/30/2022 10:22:41

Q: I understood the Revudex would be a unique utility aggregated to Revuto, servicing Cardano native tokens and stablecoins. Can you please elaborate on Revudex’s competitive advantage over other DEXes on Cardano? When can we expect Revudex to be live on the app?

A: You can read more about Revudex by checking our whitepaper. Unique and private Bot-wallets (liquidity pools) created inside our Staking Center are unique to the setups. They open an opportunity for users to create their bot-wallets containing ADA and/or other CNTs. Also, there’s an opportunity to apply a specific trading strategy (bot) for every wallet. But the main differentiator is that Revudex will be the first DEX running in a native mobile app and connected to a non-custodial wallet running in the same mobile app.

Pedro, 9/30/2022 11:14:33

Q: How does Revuto stand on the EU crypto regulatory framework MiCA? What risks are posed to stablecoin issuing entities, e-money, and payment processing for crypto assets? How is Revuto addressing MiCA regulation challenges?

A: Today, the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation passed in the European Council. The development is a significant step towards bringing a consistent legislative landscape to the continent that has been, so far, fragmented. The text of the laws was signed off by representatives of the bloc’s member governments in the EU Council, but the policies are expected to go into effect in 2024. With this development, the goal is to create a consistent regulatory framework for crypto in the EU. In that regard, Revuto has nothing against adopting a regulatory framework that should raise trust and help mass crypto adoption in general.

Q: Hello Revuto, my question is for everyone who paid 800 ADA on average for the utility NFT Netflix/Spotify. I purchased a Netflix NFT, and I am based in Australia. I expect I can use it after 1–2 years have passed. 800 ADA is quite substantial, and if I had staked my ADA or REVU equal to 800 ADA, I would be getting a lot more than 1–2 years of Netflix subscription. What can you do for those who can’t use this service for which they paid? I bought it hoping my family could use this, but I have been let down.

A: From the beginning, we were clear about who and when will be able to use Revulution NFTs. There was a FAQ document; there was 24/7 support via email, Telegram, Discord, Facebook, Twitter, and so on. At the end of this month, we’ll close the sale of Revulution NFT for Netflix and Spotify, so once we release VDCs and people start utilizing their Revulution NFTs, your NFT could become unique. Especially given that not so many were sold. There are no guarantees, but you should be able to profit from it if you aren’t able to use it.

Zdravko, 10/1/2022 17:22:37

Q: I bought a Netflix NFT on your website and have it in my Revuto wallet. I can hardly wait to use it. So, when will we get your Visa card to subscribe to this service? Secondly, can the same Visa card be used for other subscriptions and your services, and how? Thanks in advance. P.S. I have never had such good service from any customer support like Revuto’s. Excellent work, Mr. Marko Koprivic!

A: First of all, thank you for praising our customer support. We’ll do whatever we can to keep such high standards of replying to all tickets as quickly as possible. We’re testing v.4.0. and we believe we’ll be ready by the end of the year. It won’t be a debit Visa but Mastercard, and you’ll get a new VDC for every subscription you have. For now, that’s the only way you’ll be able to keep full control over your payments.

Nur Efendi, 10/2/2022 21:22:49

Q: If you have a coin or token project, do you have a solution so that the price of your coin or token project does not depend on the price of Bitcoin?

A: That’s a good question. We believe we have a business model which should help our crypto business to stay sustainable regardless of crypto market conditions, but we’ll have to wait and see if that will be the case. Currently, there’s not much utility for our token, and the main tokenomics is not engaged. Once all product features start working, the token should be in a much better position and, hopefully, not so much dependent on crypto market conditions. In short, even if BTC goes down, people will still have their subscriptions, and they’ll be using the same Revuto products and setups to pay for them, so, if anything, we should be in a much better position compared to now when there’s not much to do with REVU.

Mr. Spider, 10/1/2022 19:53:49

Q: Can we have a web page that contains every fact regarding Revuto’s development? Within this page, I’d like to clearly show others what’s working, what’s partially working, and what is still in development. I’d also like all available information on the NFTs, the planned marketplace, and as much detail provided as possible, etc., so expertise within the community can be maximized and maximum assurance can be given to potential investors. I would like all of us to have equal knowledge surrounding up-to-date developments by fact-checking against this proposed document so confusion is minimized (particularly for potential investors in REVU). Does Mr. Vukman see merit in this proposal? And if so, when can we expect to see it and where? I understand much of the theoretical developments could be subject to change, but that can be highlighted, and suggestions from the community could be of higher targeted quality.

A: The Revuto Team has always been transparent about its past and present activities, plans, goals, and product vision. We understand you’d like to have even more detailed insight into our business processes and product development, but sometimes that’s very hard to provide. We’re working in a very unpredictable and fast-moving environment where decisions change with every new input, whether from outside or inside the company. Additionally, our decisions are often hard to explain in full because, again, too many factors influence them, which is practically impossible to translate to the majority of people supporting our business. In short, oversharing often backfires because we can’t satisfy all our customers, supporters, and investors with our decisions. There will always be those who will disagree or not understand why we’re doing so. Giving people an opportunity to form their beliefs on too much information without context can be very dangerous. We believe the approach we took regarding the level of communication and transparency is good enough to keep this project on track regarding the expectations of others. Still, we understand your concerns, and we will always do our best to provide you with the latest information about what’s going on with the project.

Will McCreary, 10/2/2022 23:56:56

Q: Can you briefly describe what steps you would take right now within the app to take full advantage of all functionality? Currently, I am staking in all available pools, collecting the NFTs, etc., but I haven’t started doing anything with the subscription management feature. Cheers, and keep it up! — R STRONAUT

A: Thank you for the support you’re giving us. That’s remarkable. The subscription management feature will come to its full potential once the VDCs come out, but please don’t expect miracles to happen overnight. There’s a roadmap for the VDCs, and then for all other features/products we’ll be adding to expand the subscription management functionality with time. So, VDCs are not the end but just the beginning of releasing the full potential of the Revuto ecosystem. In short, in one year’s time, you can expect major changes regarding the product’s full potential. It’s a process. We hope you’ll stick long enough to grasp the moment we should all benefit from.

Ben, 10/3/2022 1:37:01

Q: Most service providers will give a sizable discount when purchasing an annual subscription as opposed to subscribing on a monthly basis. It was mentioned that Revuto will give the same discount to a subscriber if they purchase an annual subscription through Revuto. So let’s take an example: a monthly Disney+ subscription costs £7.99 in the UK. That’s £95.88 per year. An annual Disney+ subscription, on the other hand, costs £79.90. That’s a difference of £15.98. Where is the money coming from to cover this difference if Revuto gives the same discount to the end user while still paying monthly to the service provider?

A: Dear Ben, we answered that specific question above. The same answer works regarding the sustainability of the business model behind the Revolution NFTs. Although Revulution NFTs are limited to a certain number, there is a sustainable business model behind it, but not conventional. In the crypto business, many setups depend on the token price, more precisely on capital gains due to the positive price movement of the token supporting the setup. In our case, the project holds a big chunk of the token supply to profit from it. Creating incentives for users to buy and lock up tokens is the main driver of many crypto-related businesses.

Volkan K., 10/3/2022 10:10:15

Q: Turkish ebony payment company Papara will be in Eastern Europe by the end of the year. Is Revuto ready for this competition?

A: Papara and many other competitors such as Revolut are pretty much the same but more or less adopted (successful) fintech companies offering more or less similar neo-bank features. Still, at the moment, we don’t see any of those focusing strictly on helping people manage and save money when it comes to their subscriptions and while leveraging crypto and Defi setups by doing so. Revuto’s goal is to build an app that will be a single place for all your subscriptions, with features/products tailor-made for solving specific problems regarding subscriptions. Only time will tell if we’re on the right track. Still, we can already assure you we have a big competitive advantage in solving specific subscription-related problems over other fintech products.

karadeniz v, 10/3/2022 10:14:06

Q: Does Revuto have a capital problem if the bear season is long?

A: That’s a great question to which there’s no clear answer. We have adjusted our operations (expenses) according to the current market conditions. Still, nobody knows how long this could last and what will happen to the global market (recession, inflation, armed conflicts) in the long or short term. There’s no guarantee we won’t have to readjust again if we see the worst is yet to come or vice versa. Now, the best we can do is adjust and spend only when it matters to stretch our runway. Still, we won’t be passive observers, so we’re always looking for new funding opportunities and options to survive the worst-case scenarios. There will be announcements about that particular topic in the upcoming weeks.

Pedro, 10/3/2022 10:46:42

Q: What’s your take on the current state of the bear market — where is it heading, and what impact is it having on Revuto?

A: We’d be lying if we said that market conditions are not impacting our business. Yes, we’re not fully dependent on the crypto market/users. However, as crypto is an important part of our ecosystem and we depend on our supporters (token holders), we pay a lot of attention to that topic. It’s hard to predict where the market is heading but assuming the worst may still come, we have already readjusted our priorities. We narrowed down our activities towards what we believe is the most important — product development, specifically, subscription management with VDCs. Honestly, in these market conditions, many times, it seems like it’s better to do nothing than anything because the reaction from the market will be the same, and you’ll lose that bullet, that strong card to score when it matters. That’s why we’re constantly observing the market and discussing our next moves.

Q: What’s your latest assessment of Revuto’s competitors? Do you undertake regular business intelligence activities? How can Revuto stand out against competitors over time?

A: Although Revuto is a unique product built specifically to help people solve all their problems with their subscriptions, we’d be stupid to say there are no competitors. Some fintech products are already established among users. Still, our knowledge about the market and the approach to solving problems are unique, offering tailored-made CX/UX for subscription management. By adding crypto (token, NFT, Defi) to the setup, we believe we offer a far superior product for the specific problem. In the end, only Revuto helps people save and earn money on their subscriptions.

Q: How will the EURR stablecoin protocol work? Will it be 1.1 backed by euro currency in the form of government bonds? Who will be issuing the entity of the stablecoin protocol? How will it stand under MiCA regulation?

A: That’s a great question to which we still don’t have all the answers, but: the plan for the EURR stablecoin is to make it fully backed with EUR 1:1 On January 1st, 2023, Croatia is entering the Schengen area and will accept EUR as an official currency which should help us legally and technically back EURR with EUR. The issuing entity should be a Revuto business entity in Croatia under the jurisdiction of the local financial regulatory body (HANFA). In that case, the legal entity must work as a fully regulated custodian and crypto exchange. MiCA regulation will come into effect in 2024. and therefore, we see a window of opportunity to set up everything before new regulations come into force and what will make such activities even harder to execute. When backing such a stablecoin with bonds, there are strict rules about what financial instruments can be used instead of FIAT (EURR) as collateral and in what ratios. It’s still far too soon to talk about the initial supply and the ratio to other financial instruments with which the stablecoin will be backed (if any). Before securing the funds to back up such a stablecoin, we must secure the regulatory (legal) requirements, followed by the technical infrastructure. It’s not an easy process, but we’ll try to do it.

Petar, 10/3/2022 16:44:20

Q: Amy info about the new release schedule of R-tokens?

A: We’re still discussing when it should be better to launch our DEX and, consequently, the R token. We know it’s a hot topic, but we ask for your patience because our team will do all possible to make that event worthwhile for the Revuto community. There’s no point in rushing things up if they don’t add value to the project. Still, we’ll be looking to provide updates about the Revudex and R token by the end of the year.
