Revuto Community to Select Sticker Winners

If you’ve kept track of our social media channels in recent weeks, you’ll know all about the Revuto Sticker Contest, where we invited content creators around the world to submit their designs — with 8,000 REVU up for grabs. We’re pleased to say that we received an influx of creative suggestions from some seriously talented people, but only the best of the best have made it into the final stage.

Your Platform, Your Choice

This week, we close the contest after a little over two weeks and turn it over to the community to vote on their favorites from our jury’s curated selection. The overall winner will receive 5,000 REVU while the runner-up will pocket 3,000. Needless to say, the stickers will also be immortalized in the official Revuto Telegram, which is quickly closing in on 20,000 subscribers.

Over the past fortnight, we have witnessed everything from works done in Paint to professional graphic designs and sketch illustrations. We’re grateful for every sticker you have submitted, and we greatly appreciate your desire to get involved. We’ve said it before but we’ll say it again: Team Revuto is a hell of a crew.

While we understand that much of the effort was motivated by the desire to earn some sweet REVU tokens, we think (and certainly hope) that you all enjoyed the process as much as we did. It was definitely a fun little exercise to get the imagination firing and gain a clearer understanding about the sort of stickers we want in our Telegram channel.

The Sticker Hunt isn’t the last creative competition you’ll see on our socials. Feel free to hit us up with some suggestions and ideas for the next one, but before you do, go ahead and download the sticker set you like and use them in the conversation. We’re sure the artists who created them will get a kick out of it.

Revu Gilr and NFTs Galore

Speaking of nifty stickers, we have to mention one. It was sent to us out of the blue by a Revuto user a while back, and almost immediately it became part of our collective lexicon. Christened Revu Gilr, the sticker never fails to put a smile on our face; so we have to give a shout out to the user who, in a sense, gifted us it without knowing just what kind of impact it would have. Truly, we salute you!

The artistry on display in the sticker contest is also in our NFT gallery, which is now visible to everyone on our website. You’ll recall that we recently rolled out a series of commemorative NFTs for our community of Early Backers Tier 1 (EBT1) investors, and though not everyone beat the deadline and chose their own NFT, the entire allocation was eventually distributed.

Now, some cynics may look at the stickers and the NFTs and think “So what? What does it have to do with a crypto-powered subscription management platform” But for us, Revuto is about more than a product — even if our product is a game-changer for the subscription economy. Revuto is a community centered around communication and collaboration, and we’re just as passionate about the memes, art and NFTs as the tokenomics and roadmap.

We need only look at the growth of Bitcoin to appreciate that while the underlying product is the lodestar, the community that grows up around it is what creates the irresistible forward momentum: the developers, the miners, the bag-holders, the stakers, the designers, the marketers, right down to the true believers pushing out 20-tweet threads about why bitcoin is the greatest innovation in the history of money.

Which is a long-winded way of saying that what might seem frivolous and fun to some people, can actually help take a project to the next level. It can also strengthen ties between a globally distributed community of end users. With that in mind, congrats to those who’ve claimed a Revuto NFT and respect to those who’ve contributed to our success to date. And to the lurkers: what are you waiting for? Join us!
