Revuto Is Building a Dynamic New NFT Platform

Not content with levelling up the subscription economy via a crypto-powered DeFi solution, Revuto is diversifying into non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

That’s right, we are working on developing our very own NFT platform and marketplace for Early Bird Tier 1 investors — and we plan to fully integrate NFTs into the Revuto app.

Why We’re Bringing NFTs to Revuto

NFTs have taken the world by storm over the past year, with one piece of digital art selling for $69 million back in March. NFT collections have drawn interest from all over the world, with investors increasingly keen to add provably scarce, blockchain-based assets to their portfolios.

NFTs can represent just about anything — artwork, music, real estate (virtual and real-world) — and we’re determined to build a dynamic platform that responds to users’ needs while delivering superior UX and genuine value.

Dismissed as a craze by some, NFTs have clearly met the approval of seriously clever people. None more so than Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the creator of the World Wide Web itself. Last week, Sir Tim announced that he was tokenizing the original code used to create the internet, saying “it feels right to digitally sign my autograph on a completely digital artefact.”

Although a number of nascent NFT platforms have captured value in this developing space, we are convinced we can create something entirely unique. And in doing so, pioneer a fresh use-case for the REVU token.

Four Key Developmental Milestones

Our plan is to push through four key developmental milestones in time for a September release. The phases will be as follows:

Phase 1

Our landing page, nft.revuto.com, will go live next week. Rather than living on our main site, the NFT platform will have its own domain. Initially, it will display a Coming Soon message, although Early Bird Tier 1 investors can log in.

As the weeks go by, expect features of the site to come online. Needless to say, we’ll keep you updated right here in our blog and our social media channels.

Phase 2

Registrations will open, enabling users to receive a Unique Investor Number (UIN). We will also gradually roll out all of our newly-minted NFTs. A Randomizer app will auto-assign NFTs, although users have the option of replacing their NFT if they are not satisfied. The process will be first-come, first-served so it’s in your interest to claim early and enjoy a wider selection.

Phase 3

The Revuto NFT marketplace — where all NFTs along with their addresses and corresponding UIN will be visible — goes live. Naturally, in the interests of security, users won’t be able to see who is behind each UIN — but they will be able to see that an NFT belongs to a certain UIN.

At this stage, users will be able to trade with others on the platform, either on a one-for-one basis or by parlaying a combination of NFT and REVU tokens into an especially desirable asset. We intend to make this process as simple and user-friendly as possible.

Phase 4

The Revuto NFT marketplace will be fully accessible and integrated into the existing Revuto app. Thus, the app can be used to deposit tokens, stake REVU for yield, manage and pay for subscriptions, earn cashback, receive referral rewards, and trade NFTs.

Decentralized finance is evolving at a rapid rate, and NFTs represent an essential pillar of the industry. Not least because they are drawing billions of dollars of liquidity into the market, and redefining the way we assign value to non-monetary goods.
