Today we are delighted to announce the launch of our new non-custodial wallet, a product that has been many months in the making. Designed to provide the safest and seamless native mobile experience to our extensive community, the wallet is a joint effort between Revuto and AdaLite, a lightweight browser wallet for the Cardano ecosystem.

The Revuto wallet stays true to our mission to grow and nurture the burgeoning Cardano community. To that end, we are gifting 1.44 ADA to every single REVU token holder who participated in our Token Sale earlier this year!

It may seem as a simple task on the outside, but for ADA holders and Revuto token sale participants this isn’t a big shock. In fact some may remember that our oversubscribed ICO in May this year crashed Yoroi — a popular lightweight wallet — and that was a major signal that our community deserves a more stable and secure solution. Developing a wallet and donating ADA transaction costs is a sizable investment, but our community is worth the effort”, said Revuto CEO Vedran Vukman.

We didn’t pick this figure out of the clear blue sky, of course — UTXO transactions on the Cardano network currently require a balance of at least 1.44 ADA in order to withdraw Cardano-native assets. In sending 1.44 ADA to each Revutonian who participated in the Token Sale, we’re essentially picking up the tab for gas on their next transaction. This one’s on us!

“We care about our REVU token holders and as a token of our appreciation, we are gifting 1.44 ADA to every token holder who participated in our Token Sale earlier this year — so that they can fully enjoy a native and seamless experience. It’s what Revuto and our product is all about — a seamless and simple experience with no hidden fees”, Vukman concluded and announced that the company has an ambitious product roadmap for Q4 this year with more announcements to follow.

Needless to say we’ll be welcoming feedback about the wallet in the coming weeks and months, so don’t be shy about letting us know your impressions. Having worked on it diligently, we have every confidence that it will become the standard-bearer for Cardano crypto wallets.

Gearing up for Dubai Summits Next Week

After recent conference appearances in Zadar and Berlin, we’re currently gearing up for two big events in Dubai — first, the Global DeFi Investment Summit on October 11–12, then the World Blockchain Summit on October 12–14. At the latter, our co-founder Josipa will make a keynote speech relaying our plans to take DeFi by storm in the year ahead. Revuto is also one of the Main Sponsors of the events. You’ll also be able to meet us at the Wow Summit and Future Blockchain Summit in Dubai later next week.

Tickets for both events are still available incidentally, and we’d love it if you could make it along and meet the Revuto team in person. The events feature speakers such as Bittrex CEO Stephen Stonberg, Polygon Co-founder Sandeep Nailwal, and Celsius Network CEO Alex Mashinsky.

As well as all things DeFi, the summits will consider the impact of NFTs, the role of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), stablecoin technology, Web 3.0, and enterprise blockchain. If we weren’t attending in an official capacity, we’d definitely be there for the debates and discussion.

Speaking of meetups, we’re currently preparing for the first live Revuto meetup in our capital of Zagreb. Yes, we met some eager Revutonians during Cardano’s recent summit in the city. But we’re talking about a Revuto-centric meetup especially for our own community members. Stay tuned for more details.

Elsewhere, we are in the process of finishing our full rebrand including a newly-refreshed website. You’ve got to move with the times, and while we’re very proud of what we’ve built so far, we recognized room for improvement. Hopefully you all still recognize us when the rebrand’s complete!
