Get Involved in Our First Live Revuto YouTube AMA!

The Revuto team is gearing up for another mini milestone: our very first live Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on YouTube!

You’ll need to be quick to get this one in your diaries: we go live tomorrow, September 17, at 3pm UTC (5pm CET). If you’re in the latter timezone, you may just be clocking off work after a long week — so grab a coffee (or something a little stronger), put your feet up, and tune in. Ask Us Anything!

This is an excellent opportunity to ask the Revuto team, well, anything you want: how will staking work on Revuto? How did we become the first decentralized application (dApp) on Cardano? And who will be first in line to receive investment from our R Fund?

The AMA will follow a laidback format and five members of the project team will be available to answer your queries. The participants will be Vedran Vukman, our CEO and co-founder; co-founder and Head of Strategy Josipa Majić; Filip Srdoč, Business Development and Listing; blockchain solution specialist Kristijan Glibo; and Tina Andrašek, Marketing and Content.

For Vedran, it’s the fourth AMA in just four days: he recently appeared on the D’va News Channel on Tuesday, and 10 people deemed to have asked the best questions were rewarded with $100.

As before, you can submit questions to us via YouTube and Telegram, and we’ll do our best to get as many of them answered as possible.

As mentioned in our last update, the rest of September is shaping up to be incredibly busy — and this won’t be the last AMA. That said, it will probably be the biggest. So, don’t miss it!

Press Coverage in Foreign Media

Like many crypto-powered projects, Revuto likes to cut out the middleman and speak directly to the community via social media. That said, it’s nice to be the topic of some old-school reporting and to distribute content via legacy channels.

8BTC, a major Chinese media outlet focused on the crypto world, just published an article about how easy it is to use the Revuto app. You can read it right here. If Mandarin isn’t your strong suit, just hit ‘Translate this page’ in your browser. Here’s a snippet: “Revuto manages all subscriptions through a single, intuitive, easy-to-operate interface, and one-stop control of Netflix, Deezer, Spotify and Adobe services. Revuto will push instant notifications to users to Approve, Block or Postpone (Snooze) subscription services, so as to avoid unnecessary subscription expenses.”

Getting the word out about Revuto is China is quite a boon, and it backs up our efforts to engage with local communities on multiple levels. Remember, we have created local Telegram groups in numerous countries around the world, from Italy, Spain and India to Vietnam, Brazil, Indonesia. Russia is another country in which we plan to make our mark.

Speaking of which, we have released a brand-new Revuto article in Russian via the media platform block-chain24. The purpose of the article is to draw attention to our newly-established R Fund, since many talented blockchain developers are based in the country. Perhaps one of them will win funding.

Why Cardano’s Alonzo Update Matters for Revuto

Like most people operating in the crypto industry, we like to keep our finger on the pulse as far as blockchain updates are concerned. When it comes to Cardano, of course, we’re even more invested in what’s coming down the line — since enhancements to the network directly affect our subscription management platform.

The world’s third largest blockchain platform has been making headlines lately, and after its long-awaited Alonzo upgrade came into effect, over 100 smart contracts were processed within the first 24 hours. The Alonzo hard fork has been described as a game-changer by Cardano figurehead Charles Hoskinson, and from our perspective, we couldn’t agree more!

What Cardano’s smart contract rollout does is enable Revuto to take advantage of various DeFi features, from token staking and micro-lending to borrowing and NFTs. Alonzo sets the stage for the transformation of Revuto from a humble subscription management platform to a valuable, scalable DeFi powerhouse with the REVU token at its core. Not content with being the first dApp on Cardano, we are determined to be the best!

Of course, this all won’t happen overnight — it will take some time to test, optimize and unveil — but it’ll ultimately make our subscription management platform even more impactful.
