Revuto Staking Incentives for 2024

A new year is upon us, but more importantly, today, we celebrate the second birthday of the Revuto staking center. Yes, it’s been exactly two years since we introduced Revuto’s most used product feature so far — the Staking Center. For that grand occasion, we have decided to announce an amazing new incentive for you to keep on staking your REVU in the Revuto Staking Center.

Since its launch, our staking center has offered investors superb APR along with other add-ons like rewards in CNTs, special NFTs, and even T-shirts.

Staking Center Maintenance and Relaunch

In the summer, we explained that the Revuto Staking Center would be going through some maintenance. This was needed to revamp the system and make it scalable to meet the demands of our users. It’s impressive how much interest there has been in our staking opportunities, and we don’t plan to stop offering new staking opportunities and partnerships with other projects so you can get more free tokens as rewards. But to do so, we’ll be introducing a whole new setup built on the custodial structure. During the transition, which we expect to finish by the end of Q2, you can keep staking your REVU to earn more REVU. We believe that staking REVU to earn more REVU is the most valuable staking opportunity we offer because it allows you to accumulate as many free REVU tokens as possible, which should gain value in the future, especially once we release Revuto’s core features.

Unfortunately, the scheduled maintenance on the system and refactoring of the initial Staking Center setup, built by a 3rd party, ended up taking a lot longer than we had expected. As such, there has been concern about the payout of rewards that had been earned in given lock-up periods, as well as other unstaking claims.

We are pleased to announce that payouts of $ADA rewards earned by those who invested in our R Fund Staking Pool have commenced and are being processed in batches. So far, in 2023, despite the pause and issues with processing stakings on scheduled time, we managed to payout more than 800k ADA, including amazing APR rewards of up to 12% (in ADA). If we’re not mistaken, those were the highest-paid rewards in ADA in the Cardano space so, if anything, we believe we compensated for the delays with those great rewards plus other incentives.

Payouts of $REVU are set to be processed once the final $ADA have been received.

Everyone who has been affected by the delay will receive a Metal Card NFT which they can find in the Revuto NFT Center. The NFT will allow them to be among the first to get a Revuto Physical Metal Card.

Stay with Us & Keep on Staking!

As discussed at our October 2023 AMA, further incentives to keep your funds in our staking center are well thought out and super-attractive.

In short, for all those who will keep staking their REVU, we prepared a big R Token Airdrop. The reason for that was to compensate you for the Staking Center pause and also to keep you with us until we launch the much-anticipated release of our most significant app update so far — app v4. Releasing v4 in Q2 and introducing the Debit Card Program to our ecosystem will kickstart Revuto’s main business model. Premium accounts will also kickstart REVU tokenomics because people will have the option to unlock premium accounts by buying REVU and locking it for 12 months or more. Additionally, users will be able to use their REVU to top-up VDCs and use it to pay their subscriptions. Later, the Stake to Subscribe feature will come, further boosting the demand for REVU tokens.

Having a high REVU TVL (Total Value Locked) before we launch the V4 will help us better kickstart the REVU token economy once the specific product features start creating demand for REVU, which should result in REVU value going forward.

The Big Incentive!

What we have decided to do to make you use those incentives and make all the above possible is to cancel all “unstake pending” requests to make everyone eligible for the new incentive. So, the process will be as follows:

Once we unpause the REVU staking pools, you do nothing, and your REVU tokens stay locked in the Staking Center until July 12th (or more if you decide so) to be eligible for the BIG R TOKEN AIRDROP.

The R Token Airdrop reward system will affect all users whose REVU tokens were locked with the Revuto Staking Center at any time since the ICO.

If the user decides to unstake his REVU any time between when we unpause the REVU staking pools and July 12, 2024, he’ll lose the right to participate in this R Token Airdrop.

The incentive with the R Token Airdrop will not apply to users who stake REVU 4 days after we announce the REVU staking pools unpause.

IMPORTANT: once we unpause processing all REVU Staking Pools, as before, users will have the option to unstake their REVU at any given time by choosing so in the Revuto mobile app. If not the same day, users will get their REVU to their non-custodial wallet in the Revuto app within 24h the latest. In short, THERE’S NO STRICT LOCK-UP PERIOD!

Specifics about the R Token AIRDROP offer:

- all users that decide to keep their REVU tokens staked until July 12th, 2024 (midnight UTC) will be eligible for an additional R Token Airdrop

- for each REVU staked during the period, the user will get 30% in R Tokens.

- the Airdrop will happen two months after the completion of the R Token IDO (set for late 2024 or 2025, depending on the market situation). To maximize the opportunity for R Token Airdrop holders, the team will aim to schedule the R Token IDO during the best possible market conditions and set up the IDO in a way that all R Token holders can maximize their earnings from participating in the airdrop

- to calculate the R Token Airdrop amount, the Revuto team will take snapshots of REVU tokens staked in the Revuto Staking Center once a week until July 12th. The user will be able to see the Staking Center R Token Airdrop amount in their Revuto mobile app with the next app update.

- Airdrop R Tokens will gradually vest for only two months, allowing token holders to benefit from the next bull market.

The team will announce further incentives for staking R Tokens once they are released into the circulating supply.
The team will release products to utilize R Tokens within the Revuto ecosystem and generate demand for them. Still, the main utility for the R Token is to serve in the economy of Revudex, a decentralized exchange on Cardano that will run in the Revuto mobile app and allow users to easily swap their CNTs using the non-custodial Revuto wallet.

IMPORTANT: R Tokens will be listed on DEXs on Cardano, and there’s no plan to list them on CEXs. The utility of the R Token, more info about the R Token economy, distribution, TGE, Airdrop, IDO, and other relevant information will be announced in the latest Revuto whitepaper, which the company will release before the IDO. Also, you may expect further benefits from participating in the Staking Center R Token Airdrop, such as discounts for participating in the IDO and similar.

Simple math of getting 30% more with the R Token Airdrop

- one R Token is set up to be worth 0.1 REVU, meaning 1 REVU is 10 R Tokens. Still, more specific details about the expected conversion will be released with future Revuto whitepaper updates. The team will adjust conversion and R Token IDO prices according to the market conditions and other factors necessary for the successful IDO.

- for example, if your average amount of REVU tokens staked (until July 12th, 2024) is 3,000 REVU, the user will get 30% of that amount in R Tokens. 30% of 3,000 REVU is calculated to 900 REVU, meaning the user will be rewarded with the Airdrop of 9,000 R Tokens.
